It’s a new era under the spurs regime. Chairman Daniel Levy sacked Mauricio Pochettino on Tuesday night and less than 12 hours later, hired Jose Mourinho.
Due to a lack of results the head coach position has been refilled with one of the most decorated managers in football history. Mourinho joined the team because he is excited to work with the talented players after being out of work since 2018 December.
Expect a revitalization of the Spurs team, Christian Eriksen, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen are all likely to pop back in the first team or pop out in January transfer window. We are also likley to see an improvement in the right back arena either in the form of Serge Aurier or a new and recognized right back. Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Hueng min Son are sure to be in an excellent form after a change in the Head Coach.
Pochettino has left Mourinho with arguably the best squad Mourinho has ever received. Poch refused to resign after being asked to do so by Levy and the consequence of Spurs’ away form has seen a shock development after the most recent International break.
Mourinho’s first task is to win an away game this year for Spurs as they travel to West Ham in a London derby.
Likely first team[w/ fit players] :
Lloris; Rose; Vertonghen; Alderweireld; Aurier; Ndombele; Sissoko; Son; Erisksen; Alli; Kane.
